Michael December 07, 2014 for Model Number 790-72902013 I have a code F-90 which is the door lock mechanism. I looked at the motor and saw three electrical connection blue, gray, and black. The blue is wired the black is wired but the wires to the black connection are cut. Is it correct that they are not needed?

Robert P. April 10, 2014 for Model Number Whirlpool LG5531XKW0 The door latch has a plastic downward facing hook that no longer holds door shut when closed. Looking at the door from the outside the latch is located in the upper left corner (of course the latch is on the inside of the door at that corner.) I probably need the hook latch on the door and the mating part on the chassis frame. I incorrectly ordered #3389441 which is no good to me....
