Justin March 07, 2021 for Model Number MGDC215EW1 I have a maytag gas dryer.The model number is MGDC215EW1.I have a problem with my unit and wondering if it might be a door switch.When the dryer door is closed you hear a crackling hissing noise going on with dryer.You open door and the noise stops.You shut door and it starts up again.You put dryer running and the dryer runs and heats normal and the noise stops just the same as when you open the door.I was hoping your might be able to point me in the direction of possible problems with my dryer and things i could check out to see what is causing that problem on my dryer.Thanks for your time.
