The Dryer Lint Filter is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool electric dryers. This essential screen traps lint and debris released from tumbling clothes. Consistent filtration is key for safety and performance. This filter measures approximately 12 1/2 inches wide and 10 1/2 inches deep.

Causes of a clogged lint filter can be an accumulation of lint from regular drying cycles plugging ventilation holes. Neglecting filter cleaning allows fluff to build up rapidly.

Symptoms of a dirty lint filter include:

  • Extended drying times as airflow is restricted
  • Overheating problems or melted slots in the filter housing
  • Risk of dryer or clothing fires from unvented lint buildup

This OEM replacement part is also compatible with Kenmore and Maytag models too, it removes the fire hazard of neglected cleaning.
