This broil element mounts at the top of the oven cavity to deliver direct, high radiant heat for broiling and finishing. Replace it when the broil setting no longer heats properly or the element shows visible damage. What it does:

• Supplies direct upper radiant heat during the Broil cycle
• Restores proper top-browning and finishing performance
• Common symptoms: no heat on Broil, weak/uneven broiling, element does not glow
• Visual clues: broken coil, blistering, or burn-through on the element
