This ice enclosure is the molded housing for the refrigerator's ice compartment. It supports and protects the ice dispensing components and guides ice into the chute or bin, helping maintain proper alignment and smooth dispensing. What it does:

Install notes:
  • Disconnect power; remove the ice bin before service
  • Note screw locations; detach the old enclosure and any connected clips or wiring
  • Transfer any brackets or hardware from the original enclosure; reuse existing fasteners
  • Mount the new enclosure without overtightening; restore power and verify normal dispensing

Marshall, there are going to be four mounting screws in the front where the auger arm is that would need to be removed once the auger arm is unscrewed from the auger shaft. Once this is done, the auger can be transferred to the new shelf.

Fran, If you are referring to the wiring of the auger motor, there are 2 wires and you can place them on either one of the terminals as it will not cause any issues.

Hello Larry, The water dripping is either from low water pressure to the unit or a bad water inlet valve 12001892 or 61005626, (both should be replaced at the same time as per the manufacturer). 61005614 is the part where the auger motor mounts.

Hello Dave, If you need only the ice bin, you will need part number 61004802. I'm sorry but this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided. You might be able to locate one online or at a local dealership if you can find one that has the part in stock.
