Mel January 09, 2014 for Model Number sf377pegw5 Blows fuses when plugged into outlet. Outlet is good.
1 Answer Hello Mel. Look for a wire on the range that is grounded to metal. Then repair the short in the unit. You have a hot wire touching metal somewhere in the unit. Read More...
Tony December 11, 2013 for Model Number Sf377pegq5 The oven would not heat, the range on top worked fine, I had the ignitor tested, it was fine, I was told to replace the gas valve, I did this and oven worked, now a week later the control panel no longer counts down to tempeture, the oven gets too hot, i set it to 350 and 5 minutes later the tempeture is 430 degrees ( tested with heat reader), now I also notice the panel blacks out, and no longer shows time. My question is do I replace the control panel, or could t be the thermostat? Does the panel connect to the thermostat, or does it sound like both need to be replaced? Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Tony. If the control is blacking out, you will need to replace the control in the unit to repair it. Read More...
Jim March 25, 2013 for Model Number sf367lemq0 Oven bake section will not maintain temperature. Intermittent one time it will heat up, then cuts off. Then it will not come on at all. Broiler Section does work. Does this sound like Electronic Control Board or is there another part I should look at first?
1 Answer Hello Jim. You need to check and see if the sensor is failing in the unit. If you test the sensor and it is good, then the control board will need to be replaced in the unit. The sensor should read 1100 ohms at room temp and 1650 ohms at 350°. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

New question: The circut design on the back of panel is different, but the front of panel is the very same. The list of Cross References List the model#: sf368lepq1 for my stove this part will work. I have 3 wire harness connetors that plug to this panel in back of my stove. Am I good? Maybe this is not an OEM part, but universal. Can you check to assure this part has three connectors? Dan
1 Answer Daniel, the white range control WP6610450 is the original board used on model SF368LEPQ1. The back of the control board has a P2-1, P2-2 and a P2-4 connection. Thanks! Read More...
Daniel C. April 03, 2012 for Model Number sf368lepq1 Does this part come with installation directions? It looks like the very part I need. Is it true that just two screws are needed to uninstall the old part and the new part also. Dan
1 Answer Hello Daniel, These usually don't come with instructions as they are pretty simple to replace. A few things to remember: Do not go into a unit with voltage connected to it. Replace the wires one at a time. Gloves are a very good idea as the edges of the metal parts are much sharper than they used to be as the manufacturers do not pay a metal finisher to smooth off sharp edges anymore. Usually, the clock is held in place with 4 screws. Read More...
