I understand the filter that I need for this model is 4396508. Here are my question: the filter that is currently there has a smooth butt just behind the cap. My cap has a" half moon" cut out. All the filters I have seen have an extension that slide into the cap (my cap is not like that). So will I need a special filter or will filter #4396508 still work ? Thanks
