Mary May 21, 2019 for Model Number KCDI250X I have seen conflicting advice regarding installing a replacement gasket/splash guard for this garbage disposal. Do we need to drop the unit from under the sink and replace the gasket, or can the existing gasket be pulled up to remove it, and the new one slid in place from above? Thanks!
1 Answer Mary, you will have to drop the disposer down from the mounting ring to replace the splash guard. Read More...

Lona October 09, 2017 for Model Number E120-6 I am looking for a Splash Guard/Mounting Gasket for an older Emerson Garbage Disposal - Model E120-6 S/N LG 47534679. The model # does not seem to come up, but according to Sears Parts Direct (based on SN), I believe the Mfg part # would be WP4211334 (or 4211334 for replacement part). Can you please help with this? Thank you
1 Answer Lona, The WP4211334 Splash Guard will work in your disposal. Splash Guards are pretty much "universal" and work in/with most if not all brands of garbage disposals. We don't quite understand the "Mounting Gasket" portion of your question ? Perhaps a better description or location of the Mounting Gasket part would be more helpful. Thanks, Read More...
Lori November 29, 2015 for Model Number FC5 Hello, I have an FC5 Maytag food waste disposer that has been working great for more than 20 years. However, I cannot find a replacement splash guard. I am looking for a piece that fits inside the top opening, so you can pull the splash guard out, clean it, and then reinsert it. The old splash guard had a diameter of about 3 and 7/16 inches. It had a rigid plastic ring that held the rubber tightly in the opening. I tried a splash guard made for InSinkErator models, but it is about 1/4 inch too small -- about 3 and 3/16 inches in diameter. Is there a part that will fit? Thanks, Lori
1 Answer Lori, Unfortunately we do not show a splash guard that will work for your unit. The splash guard for your unit has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. Read More...
