Tim, the part 3385556 / WP3385556, is a 12 ft. drain hose for Whirlpool dishwasher. the connection is slightly different(straight no bend) and don't forget to route it up and down the side of the tub, like the original hose. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks,

Hello Tina. Usually the hoses do not have the check valves. Most of the time the valves are located inside the drain pumps on the units. The manufacturer does not specify if this drain hose has one in it or not. Sorry.
