Janet B December 27, 2017 for Model Number ED2KHAXVB01 Hammering noise in water line when dispensing water. Changed filter and it still did it. Changed water inlet valve and it still did it. Figure it has to be the filter housing. It dispenses and doesn't chatter with the filter out. So, is it the filter housing? Thank you.

Mike June 26, 2017 I am trying to replace my water filter housing, but the quick connect piece appears stuck. I cannot get the tubing/water lining out at all. There is another water line in my fridge that I experimented with removing and the quick connect was very responsive. Any suggestions for how to remove the tubing from the old housing or making the quick connectors cooperate?

Chris A December 23, 2016 for Model Number ED5GVEXVD00 I have very slow water flow at the dispenser and my ice maker is making shell of ice and not whole cubes. I have changed the water filter twice with the same results. I have also noticed that when I pull out the water filter to replace it, I heard water running from the housing and onto the floor. 1 Answer Jerry, Remove the new water filter, install the cap, and check to see if the water pressure improves(your refrigerator will operate without a filter). If it doesn't improve, then check and make sure the water supply lime and saddle valve aren't kinked or clogged, then replace the filter housing WPW10121138, also check the water tank in the refrigerator, behind the crisper drawers, to make sure it's not frozen or clogged.
