Katrina for Model Number LAT9200BAL

HI, GOODMORNING. I can tell the water is leaking somewhere in parts numbered 19,36,42,48,24,19...in order to replace do I have to buy all new hoses..the hoses are not the problem nor the clamped ends....it's the mechanism that lies between. I cannot seethe clamps directly because I am looking through the cut out for the hoses on the back of the washer for the hoses that come from the water line of the house. Could you clue me in to how the clamps will have to be removed and how do I get to this area of this washer. Is there a manual online to show me how to dismantle the body or top of washer for access? Thank You for your time.

Katrina, At the front of the washer, between the main top and the front panel, there will be 2 spring clips. Using a putty knife push on the clips to release the main top. This will allow you access to the hoses. The most common reason for the leaking would be the injector nozzle which you will want to replace. The part number for the nozzle is 12001677.

Hi Joe. Yes you will need new Injector Valve nozzle assembly with clamps, the part # is 12001677. The injector sleeve is part # 215447. This is a common occurrence as the washer ages and the injector rubber material shrinks, swells and cracks. Thank - you.

Mike, it's as easy to repair the issue as it is to bypass the issue. The injector assembly is a UL and DOH requirement, it is in essence an "anti syphon device" and it allows a certain amont of air in the system, when it is filling. You can clean the interior and the slots of the sleeve WP215447 with a toothbrush and replace the nozzle and valve WP213015 WP216201 by removing the front hose clamp and hose and you're done, and good for a few years. Thanks and Good Luck

Nathan for Model Number A511

I discovered a leak and when I found the problem it is located around the injector as water comes in it will overflow the the slotted area therefore leaking. I took the assembly apart checking for any kind of cracks, found none. Cleaned out all surrounding areas in case of build up, found none. I noticed that if I turn my water valve down to reduce the pressure it doesn't leak. I have fairly high pressure coming in to the washer. I can use cold or hot and it will be fine now, but if I turn it on warm it starts to spray as if it will start leaking again any minute. Could I just have my water turned to high, or is there a more sinister problem lurking?
