Vin October 21, 2016 for Model Number HTW4400TQ0 How do I get at the inlet valve on a Magic Chef washer The valve P/N is WP8578343 Does top cover come off or do I remove control panel and entire washer body? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Vin. Disconnect the power to the unit. Release the two clips under the corners of the control panel securing the control panel. You can use a flat blade putty or butter knife to do this. Pull the control panel forward and flip it backwards. Next unplug the lid switch and remove the two brass colored clips securing the cabinet to the back wall using a flat blade screwdriver to pry them out. Pull on the front of the cabinet and slide the cabinet off the frame of the washer. You can now access and replace the part needed. Reinstall in reverse order. Read More...

He checked to see if there was electric going to the valve, & there is. Could the valve be bad? We are not sure what part we need. Thank you!
1 Answer Hello Debbie. If there is power to the valve, and the screens are not clogged, but no water, replace the water valve on the unit. Read More...

Jenny K December 06, 2012 for Model Number MVWC500VW1 My wahing machine will fill and go through wash cycle, when it fills for the rinse cycle it just keeps filling and also pumps the water out at the same time so it never fills up to complete the rest of the cycle. This does not happen every load but is happening more often and it does not matter which "wash" cycle I use. Please advise on which part this maybe. Thanks!!
1 Answer Hello Jenny K. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit. Read More...
