Kelly March 21, 2014 for Model Number 59676524500 Kenmore 59676524500 refridgerator. My ice maker will cycle but doesn't produce ice. I've determined the water line isn't frozen and appears I may need a new water valve (part #67005154) BUT the water dispenser in fridge still works (though it's a little on the slow side - doesn't gush like it once did). Is it possible that the water dispenser in the fridge still works but the water to the ice maker doesn't if the water valve is faulty? Thanks for response! Kelly
1 Answer Hello Kelly. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Dana January 17, 2013 for Model Number KBF S20ETSS01 I am having problems with the control panel, it does not work. It only displays the temperature but I can't set any alarms or adjust the temperature etc. The fridge and freezer both work, but the fridge seems too cold as often fruit are freezing, so it would be nice to make sure the temperature can be adjusted. Whende May 26, 2011 for Model Number KBFA25ERSS00 My kitchen aid refrigerator is stuck at 36 degrees and you can not change the temperature (on the freezer either that is a -1). We have already changed the display board and attempted a new circuit board (that never would let us program so we put the old one back in just to get the fridge cold again). I am hoping it is the keypad itself. Any thoughts?
