Tom C March 19, 2017 for Model Number ADB2200AWQ Amana Door latch dangles. Cannot open door. Read some answers that said lift up on door and jerk. Can anything get broken if jerk too hard? Can you slide the dishwasher out slightly and work from the top to release latch? Second question - I do have the new latch assembly WPW10130695 is it ready to install as is? The door handle does not move. Or once installed a latch is released and moves freely?.

Matt March 14, 2017 for Model Number MDB6600AWW I have a problem where none of the buttons on our Maytag QuietSeries 200 works - no lights come on when we try to start it and the unit does not start. The actual handle broke off a couple years ago. I ordered the following part: Part Number: AP6015450 MFG Part Number: WPW10130695 I received the part promptly and installed it. Closed the door, pressed the Auto button and the light came on - great. I loaded up dirty dishes, closed the door and pressed the Auto button. Unfortunately, the light did not come on and the unit does not turn on. So after the new part, it seems like it worked briefly before I loaded up the dirty dishes. Any ideas of what could be wrong? Before I ordered the new part, I thought that maybe our dog (45 pound) broke something, as he puts his front paws on the door when it is down while we load it (he does a pre-clean). Could there be something broken in the door to the unit connection? Thanks for your help, Matt

From that listing it refers me to this part if I need the handle, but the 'compatibility checker' says this part won't work for me.
