Questions & Answers

For Whirlpool Ice Dispenser Lever (Part Number: OEM18020457)

Hello Abcutie, To remove the front cover of the dispenser assembly, pull out drip tray. At the bottom of the dispenser front there are 2 grooves. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the left side and pull out on cover. This will pop the left side loose. Then slide the screwdriver under the other side and pop it loose. Lift up on the cover and it will come off. You may want to check the hooks that hold the dispenser door pin in place to make sure that they are not broken. If broken you will need to install kit number 8201756 to repair.
