Sue May 19, 2011 for Model Number ED2FTGXKQ00 I want to replace the ice dispenser and water dispenser levers (they've become discolor from the water in my area), is this a job a handy housewife can do? It looks like the facing around the dispenser area needs to be taken off first. Is that correct? Would I just pry it off with a flat tool? If you have steps I can follow, please let me know what they are. Many thanks.

Tony March 08, 2011 Just Installed the new ice maker to the fridge. Does not do anything....could this be an issue of air in the lines as per my last question on the water dispenser??? I did just install a new water filter!

Tony March 08, 2011 When I use the water dispenser it does not shut off when I remove the glass. Its not the lever sticking, it does come back to where it should be. The water eventually stops running.
1 Answer Hello Tony. Check and make sure you don't have air in the water lines. If you change the filter this can happen. If so, you will need to bleed the lines with about 2 gallons of water. Gary March 05, 2011 I have very low water volume at the door of my side by side fridge. Mod. # ed2phexntoo. A new filter did not help. Is there a valve on the door that could cause this, or is it the water inlet valve? Thanks, Gary
