Hi George. We cannot bring up any wiring diagram to your unit. The switch came with replacement instructions . Please re-look over anything that may need to be jumpered together with the terminals or rewired differently. Thank you.

Hello Howard. You will want to verify that nothing is wrapped up on the screws that push the ram down. Slide the compactor out and remove the top cover, so that you can visually inspect the ram screws. If nothing is visually jamming the ram, you might have low voltage or motor centrifugal switch W10439651. Thanks!

Hello Dennis. From the failure description you've provided it can be one of two switches. The directional switch WP777811. You can test this switch by removing the top and manually pressing the tab down listening for a click. It can also be a motor switch W10439651 but it is more likely that the directional switch is failing. Hope this helps!
