Ben October 06, 2017 for Model Number KSRJ25CNST01 My auger motor isn't turning. It just quit working... Do you have a procedure to make sure it's getting proper voltage so I can be reasonably sure it's the motor that's bad? I get 120 volts AC on a couple of pins, but there are four wires going to the motor. No clue what the others are supposed to read. The motor that I have removed is Whirlpool part number 2188890.
1 Answer Hello Ben. The pins you have the 120 VAC on is the power pins. The others are returns. If there is power to the motor and the unit does not run, you will need to replace the auger motor. You should have the power across the red/white and the brown/white wires. Thanks. Read More...
