Kimberly E April 19, 2018 for Model Number WDF320PADS1 Our dishwasher is filling with water and draining successfully. The dishes are not getting cleaned and are not ever getting hit with the water. When we stop it in the middle of the wash cycle, there is water on the bottom but the dishes are bone dry and the spray arms are dry and haven't moved. Would this mean the circulation pump W10846093 is bad? Is there a way to test it? Does that pump tend to get stopped by broken glass or food chunks? This machine is 2 years old. We just put a new control board on it 1 year ago. Kimberly
1 Answer Kimberly, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty circulation pump. You will want to check to make sure that the pump is getting power to it and check to make sure that it is not obstructed. If there is power and no obstruction then this will be a faulty pump. Read More...
Brooks February 21, 2018 for Model Number WDF320PADS1 When I turn on the dishwasher, it fills to the float and releases the soap pod. Then it clicks and hums a few times before giving up. When I press cancel, it drains the water just fine. Is this the sump motor?
1 Answer Brooks, You will want to open the sump assembly and see if there is anything in there that would be jamming the impeller from turning. If this checks ok then also check to make sure that the sump motor is getting power. If it is then this will be a bad motor and need replaced. Read More...
