Wardsweb February 05, 2015 for Model Number KEHC379JSS08 I know I need to replace the turntable motor and that I need to remove the microwave and it's bottom panel to accomplish this. What I need to know before I start is, how to remove the microwave. Does it come out the front, the back or is there an overall cabinet cover for the microwave and oven that needs to come off first? I did install this unit so removing it from the wall won't be an issue.
1 Answer Wardsweb, You will need to pull the unit from the wall and remove the cover over the microwave to get the microwave off. Once off you can replace the turntable motor. Read More...
Curt Dorn January 21, 2014 for Model Number MH1170XSB-0 The turntable motor seems to have worn loose and the glass plate rattles loadly as it turns. The track under the plate is perfectly clean nothing to obstruct it's path. To replace turntable motor on this model, will it require the mircowave be removed from the wall mount bracket?
1 Answer Curt, You would not need to remove the unit from wall mount bracket in order to replace the turntable. You would need to look at the bottom of the unit and there are screws that run around the perimeter that you would remove to drop the bottom of the unit. Once this is done you will be able to access the motor. Read More...
