Adolia, There is not a side vent kit but there are dryer vent periscope for offsets. This is a flat vent so that you can push up against the wall and be able to run ducting. For between 18-29" offset you would want 4396011RP, for 0-18 inch offset you would want part number 4396037RP and for 29 -50" offset part number 4396014.

Larry, The lint filter does not collect 100% of the lint from the clothes, they never have, there is always a minimal amount of lint expelled through the exhaust vent system and to the outside environment. Very new and very old natural fibers(cotton) seems to produce more lint than expected. Your exhaust vent system should be checked, cleaned and repaired once a year. Good Luck

Hello Jen. You will need to check the temperature of the dryer while it is running. Use a multi-meter with temperature TJMA-DMT3 and test at the back of the dryer where it vents out. Set the unit on high heat. It should cycle between 100° on the low side and 165° on the high side. If the unit is not cycling properly, you may have a bad cycling thermostat. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hi Jen. You will want to run a cycle without the unit connected the exhaust vent. If it operates normal when not connected, you will want to make sure the vent tubing is clear from any obstruction. Hope this helps.

Hello Jen. If you remove the screws holding the front tumbler assembly on the dryer, the duct assembly will come off with the front tumbler assembly. This will give you access to the blower wheel. Hope this helps.
