Morty March 19, 2017 for Model Number Caloric Stove RSK389N4, PART 1992751 Stove about 40 years old, works fine. Need oven door hinge, right side, but would also take left side if available. Please advise.
1 Answer Morty, per the manufacturer “Due to age of the appliances these are no longer available.” We can no longer get it from any of our suppliers and there is no substitute for the part available to us. We don’t know of any other source for the part. You may want to try local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it or try eBay, Amazon or similar sites. Search by using the manufacturers part number or try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or a part useable on your machine. Thanks, Read More...
Steve July 29, 2016 for Model Number ART6610WW I think I need a new door hinge for the left side. It has come completely out of the side frame of the oven (apparently been broke for awhile according to the tenant). Do I need a new hinge? Does it come with screws? Does a new screw hole have to cut into the frame or the hinge as suggested on another website and how do I do that myself? Should I replace the right side as well although it is operational?
1 Answer Hello Steve. Yes you will need to replace the hinge. As for the screws, it does not come with them but you can use the old ones if they are not damaged. Some of these are self tapping and the screw will cut the threads. As for the right side it depends on the condition of the right side hinge. If it is good, you wont need it. Read More...

1 Answer Hi Bob. Lift and support the top. Remove the door. Remove the Lt. and Rt. panel top and back screws. Slide the sides back and off. Remove the hinge upper and lower mount screws from the front of the cabinet. Then the hinge will be removed and replaced from the sides as the screws are reinserted from the front. Both the lt hinge part # R0706010 and the right hinge part # R0706011 are replaced at the same time because of the hinge strength matched new. You would not be pleased with one being stronger then the other one. Thank you. Read More...
