1 Answer Hello Ken. You will test and see if the contacts are closing when the relay switch WP3398094 is selected. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Joe April 03, 2011 for Model Number wed5830swd Our dryer all of a sudden will not switch on. Could this be the relay part #AP 2974634 it just stopped working suddenly with no warning, I checked all circuit breakers it seems to be getting juice?
1 Answer Hello Joe. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Also check the heater and thermal fuses and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Hope this helps. Read More...
