Hello Dennis, You may want to check your pump assembly to make sure that there is nothing clogging it up. If your pump is clogged it will not disperse the water throughout the unit.

My dishwasher is draining, but not completely. There is always some water standing at the bottom. Where do I start diagnosing this? Filter? Drain pump? Hose? I have cleaned the first part of the filter that I could see. Can I safely remove all the plastic at the bottom of the washer to get at the code filter? I checked the hose by unscrewing, and then blowing. It's a little hard, but then again it's looped around with water in it. Thanks for any help! --Jesper

Hello Jesper. Check the filter and make sure it is not clogged. Also check the pump assembly and drain hose and make sure they are not clogged. If all three of these are good, you may need to replace the drain pump. Hope this helps.

This DW is not draining. I have checked the hose on the disposal end, and I have disassembled down to the seal. It is not clear how to get further to check the pump for obstruction. I saw a reference to a service manual in a conversation under the seal part number for this machine, but the link did not work. Do you have instructions on disassembly beyond the diagram? I also noticed in that conversation that the seal had to be replaced with the motor. Does that apply in the case of the pump too (ie is the seal one-time use?). Thanks much! PE-Texas
