Questions & Answers

For Whirlpool Pump And Motor Assembly (Part Number: OEM18053166)

1 Answer

Hello Bruce. You will need to test and see if the timer is sending power to the pump assembly when the dishwasher is in drain cycle. If so, and the pump is not pumping out, you will need to replace the pump/motor assembly. If there is no power there, you will need to replace the timer WP8535372. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
