Bruce May 05, 2011 for Model Number DU810SWLU0 My Whirlpool Dishwasher runs normally but will not drain at the end of the cycle. The pump abviously works so why is it not draining? I have pulled the washer out and disconnected all hoses and pump housing to check for debris but found nothing. What is wrong with it? I would like to repair it as it looks pretty simple. What parts do you suggest?. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Bruce. You will need to test and see if the timer is sending power to the pump assembly when the dishwasher is in drain cycle. If so, and the pump is not pumping out, you will need to replace the pump/motor assembly. If there is no power there, you will need to replace the timer WP8535372. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
