Sean S. May 19, 2012 for Model Number kenmore 66517722k900 pump # W10247394 The water pump is not working, but the motor is fine. I only need the water pump. Why can't I just buy the pump without the motor? You sell the motor without the pump, why don't you sell the pump without the motor?
1 Answer Hello Sean, We would sell the water pump if the manufacturer of the part made it available. As a parts distributor, we do not manufacture any parts. I wish we did so we could correct a lot of issues, but unfortunately in this case, all I can do is advise you to contact the manufacturer and voice your complaint. Read More...
Arlen May 07, 2012 for Model Number DPB40DWGX1 I have a Whirlpool roll away dishwasher. It suddenly stopped draining properly. It trys to drain but the flow is weaker than normal. If I cycle the timer back to drain a couple of times it will eventually pump all the water out. I took pump and motor assmbly out and checked for blockage. Found a large popcorn kernal and some pulpy residue. Cleaned everything and re-assembled but still draining weakly. If I have to change pump, can I change pump only? Motor seems to run fine. Number on pump is 3369011 FSP
1 Answer Hello Arlen. No, you need to replace the assembly WPW10247394 if needed. First run a small pipe snake through the drain hose and make sure it is not blocked. This will cause the issue you are having as well. Read More...
Joe February 28, 2012 for Model Number 665.17439002 My machine runs and washes but does not drain. Is there a separate pump that drains it or do I need to replace the whole pump/motor assembly? Thanks, Joe
1 Answer Hi Joe. You will need to test and see if the timer is sending power to the pump assembly when the dishwasher is in drain cycle. If so, and the pump is not pumping out, you will need to replace the pump/motor assembly. If there is no power there, you will need to replace the timer WP8535372. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Kirk July 09, 2011 for Model Number du850swps3 Everything works fine, however, water does not drain in drain cycle. When it gets to drain cycle, motor stops breifly and reverses direction. Does this mean timer is working properly and that I would need a new motor and pump assembly?
