For Whirlpool Pump And Motor Assembly (Part Number: OEM18053166)

Hello Sean, We would sell the water pump if the manufacturer of the part made it available. As a parts distributor, we do not manufacture any parts. I wish we did so we could correct a lot of issues, but unfortunately in this case, all I can do is advise you to contact the manufacturer and voice your complaint.

Arlen for Model Number DPB40DWGX1

I have a Whirlpool roll away dishwasher. It suddenly stopped draining properly. It trys to drain but the flow is weaker than normal. If I cycle the timer back to drain a couple of times it will eventually pump all the water out. I took pump and motor assmbly out and checked for blockage. Found a large popcorn kernal and some pulpy residue. Cleaned everything and re-assembled but still draining weakly. If I have to change pump, can I change pump only? Motor seems to run fine. Number on pump is 3369011 FSP

Hello Arlen. No, you need to replace the assembly WPW10247394 if needed. First run a small pipe snake through the drain hose and make sure it is not blocked. This will cause the issue you are having as well.

Hi Joe. You will need to test and see if the timer is sending power to the pump assembly when the dishwasher is in drain cycle. If so, and the pump is not pumping out, you will need to replace the pump/motor assembly. If there is no power there, you will need to replace the timer WP8535372. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Thank You. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hello Drew. Check and make sure the water level inside the dishwasher is coming up close to the bottom of the heater. If so, and the spray arms don't work, you will need to replace the motor assembly WPW10247394. Hope this helps.

Hello Jeremy. Check and see if the dishwasher is filling up top the bottom of the heater. If not, check and make sure the float is working properly. If so, and the water level is low, you will need to replace the water valve W10844024. Hope this helps.

Dennis , if the leak is not due to a loose or cracked hose, You will need to replace the motor/pump assembly. It is a "sealed" unit and and gasket / seal failure in the pump will require replacement. Good Luck.
