Everett April 28, 2016 for Model Number DU810SWPQ0 My dish washer works fine except it does not drain. When it has cycled out there is water still in the bottom of dishwasher. I got the water out and ran it again and the same thing happened. However it fills and washes normally. It was making a sound as if the drain motor could have been going out before it quit. Is the drain pump separate from the wash motor? You can test to see if the motor is getting power at the point of drain cycle. If it is getting power but not turning then you would replace pump and motor. 2 Answers Hello Phillip, This can be the fault of the timer or the pump motor windings. You need to pull the tech sheet and test the motor windings. If they test good, you should check for voltage to the motor during the drain cycle.If there is no voltage, the harness or the timer has failed.
