1 Answer Mary, This should be a pretty easy process "5. To remove the inlet and outlet bezels, twist the bezels 1/4-turn counterclockwise. NOTE: There is a filter behind the outlet bezel (vent). Be sure it is in place before reinstalling the bezel." It can be a tight fit,due to the "O" ring on the "inlet Cap" a little rinse agent or alcohol on the ring should help. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Don J. September 19, 2011 for Model Number MDD4000AWS One of the bezels has broken at the clips that holds it into the the part that holds it in the door. I do not know what that part is called or what the number is. I think I can replace the bezel without replacing that part. If not, what is that part called and what is its number? Also, what is the purpose of the bezels, and can I run the dishwasher while I await the replacement bezel?
1 Answer Hello Don. The bezels WP99003605 are use for vents in the dishwasher. You do not need to run the dishwasher without the bezels, it may leak out of the tub assembly. You will need to check and see if the fan WPW10155595 or the air inlet WP99003781 is broke that the bezel attaches to. If so, you will need to replace that part as well. Hope this helps. Read More...
