For Whirlpool Dishwasher Air Duct Bezel (Part Number: OEM18043626)

Kay, the outer panel should push down and then move out. However, the vent fan assembly WPW10155595 should not be able to move unless the mounting tabs have broken or screws came loose.

Paulette, The inlet and outlet bezels are a "twist" fitting. "To remove the inlet and outlet bezels, twist the bezels 1/4-turn counterclockwise. NOTE: There is a filter behind the outlet bezel (vent). Be sure it is in place before reinstalling the bezel." The drying fan motor and housing may have shifted, But things are a pretty tight fit, and we wouldn't expect the fan to shift. You should be able to align the tabs on the bezel to the openings in the fan housing, turn the bezel clockwise until it locks in place.

Michelle, It is only necessary to have a filter on the fan inlet bezel which would be the upper bezel for your unit and the part number for the filter is WP99003715.

Copy of your question: "The water inlet bezel on my kenmore elite dishwasher leaks. I can't get it to turn to remove it. what's the trick? water leaks around the outer edge of the outside bezel. The repair man had it off, but a new part is no longer available. He reinstalled it before I got home. Being made of plastic I don't want to break it. Thank you." Parts Pro's, thanks for the quick response. My flow funnel or bezel looks nothing like the part pictured. Outside the washer is a 1"thick plastic box with a rubber flap along the top and the supply water hose clamped to the bottom. Inside the dishwasher there is a round plastic grate. Both turn together so they are connected. They aren't supposed to turn but do because the gasket or seal is disintegrated. Are you saying they don't unscrew from each other? Do you have a picture? This is driving me nuts and neither Whirlpool or Sears offer any help. To ruin a perfectly good unit over the lack of caulk is nuts, especially when the service guy could have done this, but was forbidden by his company to do so. Best regards, Bob

Hello Bob. Depending on the model number, it should twist to remove from the panel. After looking at the model, this is a twist and remove model.

Hello Henry, To remove the fan motor on unit you will disconnect power to unit. Turn off the water. Disconnect drain line. Remove door panel from drawer. To remove door panel open the dishwasher drawer Using a pair of long nosed pliers, pull out the left and right pins from the tub. NOTE keep the pin web in the vertical position when you reinstall the pin in the tub. Pull the drawer front down so it is free of the handle and the top locating slots and remove the front. You will then want to remove the dishwasher drawer and turn it over. To remove drawer Press in on the tub clips on the left and right rails, and push the rails back about 1". Lift the drawer from the rails, and push the raise back to the cabinet. Pull out on the drying fan air chute and slide the chute off the drawer. NOTE: The top of the chute has two small slots that fit into tabs, so you may have to push up on the top while you pull out to clear the tabs. Pull the fan/LED connector off the controller board marked fan. Using a straight-blade screwdriver, pry the three locking tabs holding the drying fan away from the fan, and remove it from the drawer holder.

Lisa, Could this be the part you're looking for WP99003715 it is the inlet fan filter and would appear as a "foam pad" , like your description. The dishwasher will work without it either way. Good Luck and Thanks
