John October 20, 2014 for Model Number PYE2000AYW The drum is beginning to rub on the blower housing. I suspect it needs new glides, but have done enough fixin' of things in my life to learn to not just throw parts at problem. Do you have any idea what the thickness of the glides should be? Other thoughts or suggestions? Thanks, PS A year or so ago, Jerry helped me work through and resolve a problem I was having with my fridg. Besides being remarkably knowledgeable, he was also incredibly patient with me.

R.M. R. September 02, 2012 for Model Number PYE2300AYW On the front glides I can not seem to get the (right hand glide) installed correctly. It slips out of the part of the blower housing that should keep it in place. It seems simple but I must be doing something wrong. HELP!
1 Answer Hi. Use rubbing alcohol on the blower housing to clean off old felt pad. This helps the new one stay in place as you put the blue Teflon glide part # 12002126 on top of it. You may need to use adhesive part # WPY055980 to put just a dab on top of each end of the glide after it has been inserted. You will need to let it set for 24hrs to dry before using it. Thank you.
