Stefan November 07, 2020 for Model Number MEDB200VQ0 Is the heating element relay on the control board in the console? Dryer had stopped running power still at console, traced through to blown thermal fuse. Replaced fuse, confirmed 11k ohms on thermister at room temperature. Replaced fuse and thermister (confirmed new thermister ohms also). Dryer runs but heating element stays on constantly overheating new thermal fuse again even on air fluff. Confirmed that heating element is not broken (continuity through meter, wires disconnected element only) and not shorted to any parts of coil housing or any other ground.

Vince February 04, 2018 for Model Number MGDB400VQ0 When turned on and start button is pushed, get F01 code on front panel, and all lights start blinking. What do you think it is?
1 Answer Hello Vince, the error code for the model number supplied indicates an error with the machine control board WPW10111621. You'll want to check all your connections to it and if they look good, more than likely you have a defective board. Thanks! Read More...
Jim January 18, 2018 for Model Number MEDB200VQ0 I'm working on a maytag bravo mod. medb200vq0 . The control panel looks normal, but when I push start it just beeps. I could bring up the fault code FL5 which I can't find in the book. I'm thinking it the electronic control board, but I'd like your input.
1 Answer Hello Jim. Based on the information you provided, since you listed a code that does not exist, it sounds like the control board WPW10111621 has failed and will need to be replaced on the unit. Thank you. Read More...
Diana December 12, 2016 for Model Number MEDB200VQ0 All the lights come on but the dryer won't start just makes a click sound
1 Answer Hello Diana. You will need to test the thermal fuse in the unit and test the door switch and look for a broke belt. Either will cause the issue your having. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Daniel July 10, 2015 I have a Maytag model MEDB400VQ0 dryer. I just purchased a Interface assembly as I was told this was the problem. I have replaced it and still the same problem, Dryer will not start. I have all lights on control panel only the start button only flashes. Can you help. Thanks. Dan.
1 Answer Daniel, It would be recommended to put the unit into a diagnostic mode and see if there are any error codes stored. This can be done by accessing the tech sheet in the control panel and following instructions. You will want to check the door switch to make sure that it is good and also check the thermal fuse on the blower housing to make sure that the fuse has continuity. Either one of these 2 issues can cause the unit to not start. The light flashing would point more likely to the door switch. Read More...
Jim November 20, 2014 for Model Number MEDB400VQ0 Clothes were damp/wet at end of cycle. Checked thru diagnostics and found F31 and F28 error codes. Cleared/repaired F28 code. Now I am getting L2 on the display (low voltage) checked and reset circuit breaker. Checked voltage at terminal block of dryer (full voltage) checked voltage at terminal block of dryer while machine is running no voltage drop. Is this issue within the machine or line to the machine?
1 Answer Hello Jim. If the proper voltage is coming to the board, and the error is there, you will need to replace the control board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
