This brass seal is used on range and cooktop tubing connections to create a tight, leak-resistant joint. Replace a deformed or worn seal whenever the line is serviced so the burner system operates safely. What it does:

• Forms a tight seal in a compression-style fitting between the tube and mating connector
• Helps prevent gas odors or hissing at the joint
• Can improve ignition and flame stability when a leaking connection is corrected
• Intended to be replaced when the connection is disassembled or the old seal is crushed/deformed

• Shut off gas supply and power before servicing; allow components to cool
