The Snack Pan Shelf is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It provides an additional level of storage space on the inside.

The shelf is designed to fit securely on the side walls of the fridge cavity measuring 18 inches wide by 18-1/2 inches deep. If you need a shelf with a curved front, order WPW10276348.

Symptoms of a bad snack pan shelf include:

Teresa, You will want to see if there is ice build up on the floor of the freezer compartment and if there is then this would be a clogged drain and will need to clear out the defrost drain. This is the most common cause for this issue.
