Scott September 02, 2015 for Model Number 66575163300 Reading the installation instructions delivered for Dan's question, it mentions to take out the 2 phillips screws that are holding the burner assembly to the surface. My screws are so badly rusted/corroded that I torqued the head off of the screw during removal. What is suggested as an agent to break these free for removal. Now I also need to know the replacement P/N for the screws that attach the burner housing to the cooktop. Is it feasible to replace the burner top or time to start looking for a replacement range? I am unsure about the areas where the screws are mounted into; these, of course, are looking quite rusted, as well.
1 Answer Hello Scott. There is nothing you can put on the screws due to the burner making flames. You can try heating them up before removing them. If they break, you will need to replace them with WP3368921. Read More...

Dan April 08, 2015 for Model Number SF362LXTB1 Is part # AP3596875 the correct part for gas valve for far left valve replacement? Broke D-stem of knob off must replace entire valve??? What's the easiest way to remove cooktop burner assembly and how much is the part? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Dan! Yes, the top burner valve part number WP9757218 is the correct replacement listed for the far left (left rear burner) valve. To replace the valve is a relatively easy procedure, Unplug the power cord, turn off the gas supply at the wall shut off. Remove the grates, burner caps and anything else on the cook top. You'll need to remove the two phillips head screws from each burner base, lift the burner base up and label and disconnect the wire from the igniter. Then raise the top and remove the manifold panel and gas valve. Read More...
