Dave S March 05, 2019 for Model Number KUDS30IXBL0 VENT PART WPW10469575 What is the WPW10469575 operating voltage? I would like to test that the solenoid is closing the vent properly. Also, is it common to have no fan, or vent duct on KitchenAid KUDS30IXBL0?
1 Answer Dave S, You should read 120 volts at the dispenser solenoid when activated. As far as it not having a fan, some models are now adding a fan for the drying cycle, it appears your model does not have one. Read More...

Bill February 15, 2017 for Model Number KUDS30IXSS2 I am preparing to order a replacement vent for my dishwasher (the existing part is W10195031). Looking at your site, it appears that the replacement part is AP6021947. Is this correct? I had removed the outer door panel to confirm that the vent was leaking. I did not remove the control panel cover. When I replace the vent, do I also have to remove the control panel cover? Thx in advance. Love your site and your service.
1 Answer Hello Bill. Yes, you will need to order WPW10469575 for the vent. In most cases you can replace it without removing the control panel cover. Read More...
Terry K October 25, 2016 for Model Number kuds301xbl I am getting excessive amount of moisture out of the vent (Part Number: AP6021947). Could it be a problem with the vent itself? I had the outer door cover off this weekend and the sound dampening material was soaked at the bottom. I had to replace my control panel once already because of the water vapor that travels upward into it. I noticed that the vent looks like it could possibly have an extension snapped onto it. I am assuming that it be a different model for that piece but, if I were to extend that vent line down it would get he moisture away from my electronics. Any advice would be appreciated.
1 Answer Terry, With experiencing moisture between the inner and outer door panels or on the cabinets around the air inlet area of the outer door panel located near the top left side of the panel, verify that the vent damper is closing by using the service diagnostic routine. The procedure is located in the product tech sheet. Verify that wax motor seal and vent bezel seal are not pinched or missing. Verify there is no leaks around the vent bezel seal allowing moisture past the bezel and into the door panel area. Verify that vent fan motor is operating by using the service diagnostic routine. The procedure is located in the product tech sheet. Read More...
