This thermistor is the refrigerator temperature sensor that helps the control board monitor and regulate cooling. Replacing a failed thermistor restores accurate temperature readings for more consistent fridge and freezer performance. What it does:

  • Senses internal air temperature and sends that information to the control board
  • Helps the defrost and compressor cycles run at the correct times
  • Commonly linked to symptoms like inconsistent temperatures, error codes, or a unit that runs constantly
  • Does not control cooling directly but provides the temperature feedback the system needs
What's included: One thermistor sensor. Install notes:
