First, I want to mention that the part was delivered extremely quickly, I think less than two days after I ordered it, so great job on that! Next, one minor complaint: when selecting a part, it is possible to enter a model number and click "check compatibility." In this case, when I entered the model number of my microwave (SMH8165ST) the result is "sorry, not compatible." I decided to disregard that since I could see that it was the right handle, and also the model number of the microwave is actually embedded in the name of the part! Anyway it is in fact the correct handle so you may want to fix the compatibility check on this! As far as the actual repair - it was just a matter of removing plastic frame on the inside of the microwave door to expose the handle screws, screwing them into the new handle, then replacing the plastic part. Not a big deal, although I did damage the plastic frame in the process, since it did not come off easily and had to be pried with a screwdriver using significant force. But it went back on okay and it's on the inside so any cracks are not noticible.

Followed online directions on how to get to screws that hold handle in place and simply put new handle on and put door frame back together

My wife, Velvet, watched your YouTube video on how to replace the broken handle I ordered the handle from you and my wife said it was an easy fix with the video as a guide.

I carefully worked the clips apart with a flathead screwdriver . I still broke a couple, but it seems to be inconsequential. You can't see it, and it still fits snugly. I only opened it enough to remove the screws to the handle. It went back together well and the handle looks great!

Used a YouTube video to help me take apart the front door. Replaced the handle.
