Jeffrey R Sumter , SC October 02, 2015 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG WF448AAW/XAA Samsung wf448aaw/xaa front load washer had severe mold issues Removed old seal to see if we could get it cleaned using a variey of methods without any luck. Chose to start from scrathc and ordered new seal. Had seal within 2 1/2 days and had washer put back together that afternoon. Disassembly involved removing top panel, front conttrol panel, front door panel and then finally the seal. Also removed detergent dispenser to throughly clean it and connected hoses. Takes less than an hour to disaassemble and about an hour to reassemble. Recommend viewing Youtube or Samsung videos first to make it easier to understand. I've already replaced my drain pump on this so it was easier the second time around. Kimberly D Longmont , CO January 22, 2017 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF448AAW/XAA Leaking seal on samsung washer Appliance Part Pros sent us the correct part very quickly. We watched their detailed how to video on YouTube. Other than two screws that APP didn't mention, we followed their video to a "T". It was perfect! My awesome husband thought to put each set of screws into baggies as he took them off the washer and attached the bags to the section of the washer that they went to. This made keeping track of parts easy. He also took a picture of the adjustment screw for the inner ring of the seal so he could get the right tightness when replacing it. It took him four hours but we had a lot of cleaning to do under our washer an dryer and under the seal when it came out. We couldn't have done it without APP. They are awesome! Brian T Huntsville , AL December 26, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF448AAP/XAA-0000 Disfigured door seal Replaced the seal. On my Samsung washer this can normally be performed without removing any panels from the washer. However, in my case the inner seal clamp screw was very rusted and I was unable to loosen it without removing the front panel to gain better access to get pliers on the clamp. I suggest ordering a new inner clamp with the seal if the screw is showing any signs of rust. Doing so may allow the seal to be replaced more easily in the future.
