I took the advice of another buyer and replaced the magnetron, capacitor, and diode from my microwave (make sure you discharge the capacitor). It was not a problem at all to do, I did find an excellent video on YouTube on how to test all of these components and almost anything else in a microwave. Ordered the new motor and upon arrival, installed it. The only concern I had was that the motor I ordered was not specified for this model (Panasonic), but for a General Electric. (I could not locate one specified for the model I had). However, the specs for the new GE motor were exactly the same, so I took a chance and as it turned out, worked out well.

The microwave was shutting off after operating fine for a minute or two. Found that the fan that cools the magnetron had its fan blade assembly spinning free on the fan motor's output shaft. Tried to epoxy the two and failed. Ordered a new fan assembly and it is fixed.
