The compressor was very hot and did not appear to be running. You could here a relay click on and off 15sec cycle. repeating every 2 minutes!
Bought a new overload relay too repair, plus a new thermal protection switch because it was cheap.
Both parts are actually located on the compressor behind a plastic cover. Found part numbers for parts by searching the compressor number on google! $25 Repair............

The hinge broke on the ice dispenser funnel and housing. I took them off and replace them, putting the old switches and bulb in the new housing. It took some time to put the return spring back because it does not appear in the assembly diagram. Once working, it secures to the door with 4 screws, and worked as it should. I had a friend and a repair guy tell me it was the start relay that needed to be replaced, which was an easy fix. My friend said just to unplug the start relay, replace it with the new one, and it should be good. I've never tried to repair a fridge, and that was the easiest repair ever. Temporary fix was to glue it. The final fix was a new pan which is sold as a complete unit. Old one out, new one in. The hardest part was determining what the part was called. I was looking for a "drawer" as the crispers are called, but after some searching I found a parts diagram that called it a "utility pan". Problem solved, part ordered and installed. Part was delivered within 3 days of placing the order.
