Restore proper fill control with this washer water level pressure switch. It senses air pressure from the tub and signals the controls to start or stop filling, helping prevent overfilling and ensuring the correct water level for each cycle.
- Monitors tub water level through the attached air hose and opens/closes switch contacts to control the inlet valves
- Helps prevent overfilling and underfilling by signaling when the selected level is reached
- Common symptoms of a failing switch: overfilling, won't stop filling, incorrect water level, or cycle won't start/advance because level isn't detected
- Replacing a faulty switch can resolve fill/level issues once the pressure hose is clear and intact
What's included: 1 pressure switch Installation notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off water supply before servicing
- Access the control console; remove the old switch and label/transfer wire connectors
- Move the air tube to the new switch; ensure an airtight, kink-free connection and inspect/clear the tube of debris
- Mount the new switch, reassemble, and run a test fill to verify proper operation
