Our refrigerator is over 15 years old and has been working great with only minor complaints and repairs. We noticed that our water level has been discolored from minor dripping. Our hard water discolors everything. We decided to replace this lever and. The ice dispense lever was also replaced since we wanted both to match and I had to open that area anyway. Color: White. Single door handle. Bisque and almond are no longer made. For black door handle kit order 4389076.
Removed old handles by sliding the top and bottom trim covers up and down respectively which reveals the handle screws, unscrewing the old handles ( 4 screws each) screwing in the the new handles and sliding the covers back in place. Probably took 5 minutes. Excellent! Read more

Removed the old slide. Took a few minutes to find the part, but not difficult. When it arrived installed it in about three minutes. Put the drawer back. Read more
First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe. After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not. Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call. Read more
