This wire harness routes power and control signals between appliance components to restore reliable electrical connections. Use it when a damaged or shorted harness causes intermittent operation, non-responsive controls, or loss of power to parts. What it does:
- Routes power and signals between the control and components (motors, switches, sensors) to maintain proper electrical paths.
- Replaces frayed, burned, or broken wiring that can cause intermittent operation or blown fuses.
- Addresses common symptoms such as the appliance not starting, controls that don't respond, or specific components failing to run.
- Restores original connector locations and routing for secure, reliable connections.
What's included: One wire harness. Install notes:
- Disconnect power (unplug or switch off breaker) before servicing to avoid shock or damage.
- Compare harness routing and connector positions to the removed part before installing to ensure correct fit.
- Reuse original clips and retainers where possible; secure loose wiring away from heat and moving parts.

A leaky turbidity sensor that shorted the sensor and wiring harness. Robert G. • Columbus , NJ • August 12, 2019
Given the location and number of connections that had to be switched out and since I had to disconnect the electrical to install the new harness, I decided it would be easier to just pull the unit out and tilt it over so I could see what I was doing. So I disconnected the water supply and drain lines then the electric, two mounting screws and pulled the unit. You also have to remove the front panel to acces wiring to the control panel etc. Once that’s done it’s a matter of remove and replace...
