The old filter head was broken at the supply line side connector fell out. The clicking noise eventually caused the fridge to warm up and stop cooling. The clicking was the overload relay tripping. The Start solenoid on the compressor was an Embarco TSD part 513604044. APP does not have that part nor does any else found a similar one on ebay but I ordered the PTC assembly 6749C-0014E. Fix FF or RR error codes and restore cooling with this evaporator fan motor. Resolves no airflow in freezer or fridge. DIY-friendly, 30-60 minute repair.
Removed the freezer drawers, ice maker, and panel that the fan motor is attached to. Changed out the fan motor reinstalled everything and plugged it in, and presto. I had ordered the control board just in case but didn't need it. The fan motor wasn't the easier part to replace but it was the cheaper of the two. Because the old motor would run for just a short time I assumed that it wasn't sending a signal back to the control board telling it that it was running. I was right!! Read more

Took out two screws from the existing ice maker, unplugged the harness, used a flathead screwdriver to loosen the clips and popped out the old one. Plugged in the new harness, seated the new one, put the two screws in and it was done! Read more

The purchased crisper cover lacks the printed pictures and text that was present on the front of the original, but it was no big deal.
