Water was accumulating in the drawer pedestal, it was leaking from the front of the washer so I thought it was the front door seal. If your dryer won't shut off or cycles won't advance, the timer may have failed. This control manages drying cycles and run time. DIY repair in 20 minutes.
With a Phillips screw driver, on the back of the control panel there was about 6 or 7 screws to undo, to take the cover off and 2 screws holding the timer in place. Just undone those, took out old timer, made sure I took wires from old timer one at a time, and, put on new timer. Put everything back, although I had to find a couple of very small washers to make the timer fit tight, in the 2 holes it came out of. Luckily I had those or would of been a very loose timer. Very easy to do. Read more
