Fan won't start or just hums? This capacitor energizes the fan motor windings to start and run properly. Easy DIY fix—typically 3 wires and 1 screw.
Air circulation (blower) fan would not come on reliably. Had a hard time getting up to speed and sometimes would not even run. And use a small piece of masking tape on small screws removi g the pc board and you wo t have to fight with it so much .
