I ordered the Door Switch Kit, along with a few other items. However, the switch kit was all that was needed. Isimply followed the instructions that came with the kit. It was necessary to cut the wires which connected to the wire assembly in the door of the dishwasher. I then connected the pieces from the switch kit and then connected the end pieces to the door. I closed the door, and started up the dishwasher. It worked as well as before. Read more

Installed new Collector W/check Valve on the bottom of the dishwasher tub. About a 30 minute job (including removing the dishwasher from the cabinets--water supply, drain, and power--and reinstalling it. It would be nice if the manufacturer supplied the rubber check valve separately--small piece of rubber about the size of a nickel, probably $1 to $2--instead of selling it only as part of a $38 assembly.
