If your range burner igniter won't stop clicking or won't spark at all, a faulty switch wiring harness may be the cause. DIY repair in under 30 minutes.
Began by replacing the burner and igniter assemblies. Learned that was not the solution. Proceeded with further diagnosing. Consulted online resources, such as Maytag website, and discovered that the two likely causes were either the spark module or wiring harness. Ordered both parts, and replaced inside of the oven. Single sided foam tape seals oven door glass assembly. Replace when installing new door glass or if seal is damaged. Confirm fit with your model number.
I ordered a new door glass from appliancepartspro.com it came within two days, but I forgot to order the 8 pieces of foam tape, assuming it would also be included in with the order, it wasn't, so after waiting for that to arrive, it was fairly easy, job after watching the video. Removed the knobs and the screws holding the knob plate. unscrewed the burner valve and swapped out with the new part from appliancepartspros.
