Removed the handle with two screws on the inside front and pulled out the custom wood panel. Pulled the compactor out from under cabinet. Tipped it over on back of unit, supporting it with a little foot stool. Unscrewed two lower screws at bottom of unit holding black trim panel (that held wood panel in place) and lower black rubber flap. Removed two screws on lower outside side of unit that held the foot pedal. Slid off black U shaped metal frame from top of compactor towards bottom. Slid on... Read more

Replaced both sets of door cams on my Kenmore Elite Refrigerator. The most important thing to know is that you DO NOT have to remove the doors from the refrigerator to replace BOTH sets of cams. You just have to remove the lower grill which is a snap fit (I also turned off the water and unplugged the unit). My fridge has an ice and water dispenser where the water and electrical lines go through the cams on the left side. Be sure to order the correct parts as the cam holes on the freezer side... I had to remove a metal panel at the bottom back of the freezer as well as a couple of shelf slides in order to get at a drain pan in the back. It was frozen solid, so I stabbed at it with an ice pick until I broke through, followed up by poking a coat hanger in the drain hole to clear as much as I could, then poured a little boiling water over it to follow up. Lifted refrigerator in front and back. Removed roller pin holding assembly. Removed defective assembly and replaced with new. Read more

The first handle that was sent I was unable to install as the set screw receptacle was stripped or misalinged. I called customer service and a new one was sent immediately. Second unit installed perfectly. Replaced with new one with Allen key Read more

The new Ui assembly that has all new push buttons. I found the water shutoff and the power plug when we pulled the fridge out. I shut off the water and pulled the AC plug. The whole assembly that is being replaced, came out easily when I pushed two small tabs on the lower part of the old asm bottom left and right.
