This is a replacement screw that can be used with many different types of household appliances. Screws fasten various pieces of machines together. They can also help to reduce the amount of vibration in the machine. If a screw is missing or damaged, it could cause a machine to stop working properly, or to vibrate more than it should. The screws are made from metal and will typically last for a long time. However, the threads and other parts of the screw can wear down with use. The screws could also become lost when making other repairs to the appliance. Replacement of the screws is generally easy, but it will depend on where it is placed. This item can replace certain screws found in various models of ranges, ovens, dryers, and microwaves from General Electric, Hotpoint, Whirlpool, and Kenmore. This is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. Owners may want to have several replacements on hand in case they need them.

Light was stuck on because switch was bad Brian F. • Clinton , NY • October 10, 2015
I pulled the switch out of the oven console and wiggled it until it started working. That only worked for a few days. I ordered the new switch from AppliancePartsPros on Monday. In the mean time, I pulled the switch off and held the wiring harness in place with duct tape. This turned off the light. Two days later, I plugged in the replacement switch, pushed it into the console and the rest is history! Thank you AppliancePartsPros!

The Bumper is an OEM replacement part for GE ovens and ranges. It is designed to cushion and protect the oven door or cooktop when it is opened or closed, preventing direct contact between components. This small yet crucial part helps reduce noise and wear by absorbing impact during regular use.
Over time, bumpers can wear out, deteriorate, or become dislodged due to frequent use or exposure to heat and cleaning agents. A damaged or missing bumper can lead to increased noise and potential wear on adjoining parts.
Symptoms of a bad or missing bumper include:
- Increased noise when the oven door or cooktop is opened or closed
- Visible wear or marks on the surfaces that contact the bumper
- The door or cooktop not aligning properly during use
- Missing or deformed bumper
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
